Let a Marinette Disability Attorney Help you File for Disability Benefits
It is difficult enough for most people to deal with an injury or serious illness that causes a disability. But when that disability forces them to leave their full-time job, the financial repercussions can add to their troubles. That is a reality that thousands of Americans from all across the country must face every year. For those families, the disability benefits offered by the Social Security Administration could be the only thing that helps them make ends meet.In order to qualify for social security disability (SSD) or supplemental security income (SSI) benefits, you must first file an application with the SSA. That can be done in person at your local branch office, by phone or on the SSA website. Once that has happened, you must prove to the government's satisfaction that you are disabled. While it is not mandatory that you have a licensed law professional help you with every section of the SSD/SSI application process, most people find that it can often be too much for them to handle by themselves.
That is why a large number of people are starting to seek the services of a qualified social security disability benefits attorney. An experienced SSD/SSI lawyer will have in-depth knowledge of disability benefits regulations and can assist you with avoiding much of the red tape that can accompany a disability benefits case.

The city of Marinette gets its name from Marie Antoinette Chevalier, the wife of an early fur trader in the area. She ran a trading post near the mouth of the Menominee River and became known as Queen Marinette. Today her original tombstone is on display in a local museum. The city is also the county seat of Marinette County that is unfortunately home to more than 7,000 disabled people .
Be aware that it takes time for a social security disability benefits case to be resolved. While there is not a standard amount of time to get an answer, for some people a resolution can take anywhere from a few months to a few years. However if you are approved, you will also be able to receive medical benefits such as Medicare or Medicaid. What type of medical benefits you are awarded depend on whether you are receiving SSD or SSI benefits. There are rare occasions when people will get both Medicare and Medicaid, but you must prove that you are extremely low income.
You should take note that cost should not be an issue when it comes to hiring a social security disability advocate. Most disability lawyers, like many personal injury attorneys, work on a contingency basis. That means that you will not have to pay a dime unless you win your case. Similarly, if you are concerned about being able to pay for visits to the doctor, there are low cost and free medical centers that can help you get the treatment you need.
